Read MoreAlternate time lines, multi-dimensions, time-space continuum, folding time - they are all part of quantum physics and much theorized or proven by Albert Einstein and other famous scientists. People speculate and wonder about time, well, all the time.
We also wonder, “What if?” What if Operation Valkyrie had been successful? What if Percy Spencer had already eaten that chocolate bar? What if you turned right instead of left?
The wonderment of alternate possibilities meets science with the potential of multiple, alternate time lines where, at any given point where a decision is made, all of the alternatives unfold. When Fiona Broome was talking with some friends about an incident, part of the group remembered a different outcome. She wondered how many other events people remembered differently. Her inquiries led to discovering groups of memories. Unlike an accident where multiple witnesses have multiple accounts, there were events and famous occurrences people remembered in limited but distinct ways.
Because Nelson Mandela was one of the earliest examples she came across, the phenomenon was called, “The Mandela Effect.” Some people remember Mandela dying in prison; others recall he was released and died later; still others remember him being elected president of South Africa.
A dear friend told me she learned that there have been changes in common phrases of the Bible. She, I and many others recall scripture from Isaiah that mentions the “lion with the lamb.” Her personal Bible that she used since a child, and that stays on her coffee table at home, contained those words because across from the page of scripture was an illustration of a lion with a lamb. When she heard the phrase “never existed and is now ‘wolf with a lamb.,’” she scoffed. “Who ever heard of the wolf with the lamb? Maybe in Bugs Bunny cartoons, but not in MY Bible.” She told me that as soon as she got home, she went straight to her Bible, to the page with the lovely illustration, and the picture she knew to be a lion and lamb, was now a wolf and lamb; the scripture reflected the wording as well.

In order to give people a better idea of our experiences, how we do what we do, and who we are, Margo and I decided to take turns sharing anecdotes and offering readings to audience members. Margo is the focus of part two.

There are many accurate names for what I do, yet I always discounted my abilities thinking others must be better because they seemed so secure in titling themselves. I guess I thought there must be some sort of ranking system, or a rite of passage. How does one become a known psychic, seer, medium, or clairvoyant? What I’ve learned on my journey is, titles are not necessarily earned, nor do they empower the namesake. I do what I do, and I have found I am pretty accurate. In conversation, I’ll say, “I do my woo-woo thing,” and people understand. And that’s all I really want - is to be understood. There’s no tricks, no games, just communication.
After trial and error, examining options, and determining my own purpose and reasons for creating a podcast, I approached a dear friend, Margo Ross Sears, to see if she would be interested in co-hosting. I knew I wouldn’t be able to put together a show or good conversation on my own. Margo had been searching for a similar outlet and was ecstatic to join my cause. Together, we felt we could make this work and share information with others to help individuals and humanity as a whole. We may not change the world, but we can drop a pebble into the ocean and start ripples to effect a shift.
In preparation for creating the prequel, my initial platform for recording didn’t work. We were each on a time crunch and needed to get this posted on Sept.9, 2020 before our premiere the following week. As a result, we switched to Skype to record the call. An hour and a half of chat was edited down to create this 28 minute introduction. We hope it allows the audience to know us better and to understand the direction in which we are headed. As with anything else in our lives, we remain flexible, recognizing change is inevitable, and life is an adventuresome journey to be enjoyed.
